The latest figures show Microsoft’s share of the search market has grown from 8.9% in July to 9.3% in August.

Google is still the search engine of choice in the US with64.6% of the market.

Bing has also made small inroads into Google’s market share in the UK, according to online measurement firm Nielsen, the number of searches on Bing increased by 5% last month, while Google searches were down 1.7%.
